NKP Now Taking Registrations for the Spring 2010 Season

We’re currently taking registrations for the 8-week Spring 2010 kayak polo season.

We will have beginner-level groups playing, so if you’re interested in learning to play, this is a good time to get started.

What: Spring 2010 Kayak Polo Season
Where: Brownell-Talbot School Swimming Pool (we’ll move outside during this session, assuming the lakes ever melt)
When: Sunday Afternoons.
Starts: March 28th, 2010
Ends: May 30th, 2010*
Cost: $100 (plus $5 PayPal service charge)

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS SUNDAY, MARCH 21st, 2010

*Please note that both Easter and Mother’s Day fall in this 8-week season, so we’ll be taking a couple of weeks off (so the 8-week season will actually be 10-weeks). Apparently, people do stuff other than play kayak polo on those days.

YOU DO NOT NEED ANY EQUIPMENT TO COME PLAY. USE OF ALL OF THE NECESSARY GEAR IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF REGISTRATION, INCLUDING USE OF KAYAKS, LIFE JACKETS, HELMETS AND PADDLES.

-Sunday, March 14th from 1 PM–6 PM

Beginner Kayak Polo Program Starting in November

Nebraska Kayak Polo is starting an 8-week beginner kayak polo program starting on Sunday, November 15th. Games will be held from on Sunday afternoons at the Brownell-Talbot School swimming pool (50th & Dodge). The cost for the league is $100, and includes use of all the necessary gear (kayaks, paddles, life jackets and helmets). This league is for complete beginners, so you don’t need any kayaking experience to participate. We’ll use the beginner-friendly sit-on-top kayaks to teach you how to kayak and how to play kayak polo. You will have the option of moving into the more advanced enclosed whitewater kayaks when you feel ready.

This program will fill up fast. Please click HERE to register online via our registration page, or CONTACT Nebraska Kayak Polo with any questions you have.
